Mentoring for Emerging Artists
with Ash Fields

Practical guidance, honest feedback and support while you build your practice.
Making a career in art can be isolating, especially at the beginning. This mentorship is for artists who want steady guidance, structure, and someone honest on their side. We communicate via voice-note, allowing you to offload any thoughts or doubts whenever you need, ask any questions about direction and process, and I reply once I have a thoughtful response for you. There is no limit to how much you can ask but a weekly check-in is suggestible.
Why Me
My route to becoming a fine artist has been self driven and I have learned from mistakes and successes. I am a mentee myself, and have felt the benefits of having the assistance and want to offer it to others earlier in their journey.
I'm an established artist with a full-time career in murals and illustration for seven years, currently developing a long-term fine art practice.
I’ve navigated creative burnout, financial pressure, challenging upbringing, self-doubt, and the slow work of finding a voice. I mentor from lived experience; not theory.
I am, by nature, a kind, patient teacher and am adaptable to different learning styles and personalities. I will gently guide, without expectations.
The Structure
Mentorship is £30 per month.
Mentorship is done via messaging, is unlimited and I will reply with regularity.

This mentorship is for you if:
+ You’re a beginner or early-stage artist
+ You’re serious about developing your practice, not just getting "likes"
+ You want honest, constructive feedback (not flattery)
+ You’re figuring out materials, process, and direction
+ You feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to progress
It might not be for you if:
+ You’re looking for shortcuts or quick commercial success
+ You want rigid formulas or step-by-step imitation
+ You’re not ready to reflect on your work or process
Mentorship includes:
24/7 conversations via voice notes and messaging
Thoughtful feedback on your work
Help developing a sustainable practice
Guidance on materials, technique, and process
Support with confidence, discipline, and direction
Space to talk honestly about doubt, blocks, and fear
This is not a course. It’s a conversation over time.
